Get known by ESA & European primes
Several databases offer to the industry and research institutions the opportunity to present their products and services and make them known more easily. In addition, searching for European partners or other products and services is easier using these databases.
ESID, the European Space Industry Directory
The European Space Industry Directory (ESID) offers extensive information regarding the products and companies related to space in Europe.

The ESA SME Database
The ESA SME Database, launched in 2003, consists of information on European High Technology Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) working or being interested in space-related fields. It has the following purposes:
- provide a database of SMEs from all member states, with well defined competencies;
- improve awareness about SMEs' expertise and optimise use of these SMEs;
- facilitate partner search and cooperation between SMEs and other categories of businesses.
The information included in this database has been provided by SMEs themselves. The database allows for simple queries, statistics and graphical outputs describing the distribution of registered SMEs by country and by competence.

UIRD, the University-Industry Relations Database
As part of a project to identify, promote and enhance collaboration within the space sector, particularly within the academic community and small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), ESA is developing a Web-based database which comprises the technological and research competencies of universities and research centres in the ESA member states, as well as the partnerships and relations they may have with industry.
The resulting University-Industry Relations Database (UIRD) is under continuous development and updating to reflect the very latest university research and links with industry. The database is intended for use both by ESA and national space agencies, as well as universities, the space industry, and other interested entities.

Clusters in Europe
A cluster brings together companies of various sizes united by common interests (i.e. needs and constraints), by complementary or interdependent aspects and developing cooperation on a voluntary basis in 1 or more fields of activity.
By contacting the coordinator of a cluster, you can access various companies and capabilities existing in a given geographical area.
