| The Luxembourg ICT Cluster has the pleasure of inviting to the "Smart Homes" Workshop & Exhibition, to be held on 18 January 2012 (14.30 - 17.30) at the Conference Centre of the Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg. The "Smart Homes" Workshop & Exhibition is co-organised by the partners of the European project GUARANTEE ("A Guardian Angel for the Extended Home Environment") and the Luxembourg ICT Cluster. The goal of GUARANTEE is to develop software products and services that provide personal safety in the residential environment. |

These products and services provide direct support and advice to people in unsafe situations; they connect people and enable the support of others. The project will investigate the consumer needs and the commercial opportunity for this type of product. Furthermore the project will develop the software components and services for personal safety as well as the system and software architecture.
|
Luxinnovation, the National Agency for Innovation and Research, strongly recommend this workshop to the Luxembourg ICT Community interested in AAL (Ambient Assisted Living) activities and in ICT solutions for an ageing population.
