A series of workshops on the development and implementation of ESI-funded projects in the area of health are being held across Europe.

ESI Funds for Health is examining how European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) are used to support health investments under the 2014-2020 programming period, as well as to develop the capacities of Member States and regions to effectivly implement ESIF for health.

The workshops are for ESIF programme managing authorities, beneficiaries, and other health and social policy stakeholders who want to share knowledge and build capacities to develop and implement EU-funded projects in the health field.

Each event will consist of a one-day peer review of an exemplary ESI-funded health project and a one-day wider workshop to discuss how the funds can best be used to target priority health policy goals. These events are free of charge for interested stakeholders.

EuroHealthNet, Milieu Ltd, Maastricht University, Health ClusterNET and King-eClient are collaborating on the initiative, in cooperation with the European Commission (DG Santé).
