A bit of background about JEC World
JEC World in Paris is the only trade show that unites the global composite industry: an indication of the industry’s
commitment to an international platform where users can find a full spectrum of processes, new materials, and solutions
covering the whole composites supply chain, from raw material to parts production.
This event welcomes more than 43,500 professional visitors over a 76,000 sqm area and more than 1,300 exhibitors
coming from over 110 countries.
Luxembourg’s presence is organised by the Ministry of the Economy in close coordination with the Composite Industry
Luxembourg asbl and the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).

The Composite Industry Luxembourg (CIL)
The Composite Industry Luxembourg (CIL) was created in the context of the Luxembourg National Composite Initiative. It acts as a catalyst, consolidating the core competencies of Luxembourg’s composite industry. The initiative identifies and executes joint projects and provides networking and incubating opportunities as well as consulting and training. The targeted fields of applications are new composite materials combining nanotechnology, bio-based resources, chemistry, engineering, material science and processing, as well as manufacturing.
