Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individiual fellowships (MSCA IF) are bottom-up grants for postdocs and principal investigators early in their career. They provide salary and research funding for 12-24 months (up to 36 months for global fellowships) and aim to support the mobility and increase the employability of researchers in Europe. Furthermore, they are considered as prestigious entry points to the world of competitive grant writing for your postdoctoral fellows. The next deadline is September 12th. The MSCA fellowships are competitive, but this year, candidates in Luxembourg will be eligible also for the Widening fellowships meaning that your chances of success will increase significantly.

The projects will be written jointly by the candidates and their hosting principal investigator; for many candidates it will be the first time that they have to write down not only a scientifically solid project but also conceive the parts of the proposal that deal with project management, dissemination and scientific impact. For this reason, Luxinnovation, the National Contact Point for Horizon 2020, and the University of Luxembourg jointly organize a grant-writing workshop on 11 June where we will discuss these points and inform you about the (free) support services (e.g. proposal reviewing) that Luxinnovation provides.

We will start at 14:00 and the workshop will take 2-3 hours, depending on the number of participants and questions.
