Luxinnovation has a large portfolio of services addressing entrepreneurs and managers of start-up and grown-up companies, local and foreign enterprises, and investors. Our recent growth has led us to create a new role and we are now seeking a high motivated Director of Administration and Finance (m/f).

As Director of Administration and Finance reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for the management of the overall organisation’s activities in administration, finance, human resources, legal, information technologies and quality.


  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting and reporting processes as well as the management of accounting systems and infrastructure
  • Carry out the design of prospective budgets in cooperation with the CEO, help identify opportunities and determine the cost effectiveness of service delivery
  • Be co-responsible for the overall management of costs and budgeting
  • Oversee HR activities, in particular talent acquisition and talent management as well as compensation activities and processes
  • Improve and align HR policies, processes and goals with the needs of the organisation
  • Assess the IT needs and advise on appropriate solutions that meet the organisation’s information and operational requirements in line with financial resources
  • Oversee and supervise the administrative function of the organisation, including reception, facility management, safety and office procurement
  • Monitor legal matters and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
  • Improve and monitor internal quality processes according to the organisation’s quality policy


Profile & requirements

You hold a Master degree in Economics, Finance, Law or Human Resources or related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position with a number of years in an executive role. You have strong people management experience with good coaching and mentoring skills as well as conflict resolution abilities and demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Experience in budgeting, financial reporting and other related financial processes
  • Experience working with different external advisors: external auditors, law firms, trust service companies and advisors
  • Technology savvy with the capacity to ensure the IT function is in line with business requirements
  • Thought leadership, high emotional intelligence with well-developed capacities in strategic planning
  • Decision-making , influencing and networking ability
  • Analytical and organisational skills, creativity and Innovative approach
  • Excellent command of English and French. Luxembourgish and German will be considered as an advantage
