Luxinnovation, the national agency for the promotion of innovation and research, contributes to Luxembourg’s economic development by stimulating innovation, fuelling international growth and attracting foreign investors to the territory. Established as an Economic Interest Group (GIE), Luxinnovation is an initiative led by the Ministry of the Economy, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Trades and the FEDIL – The Voice of Luxembourg’s Industry.

Within the Agency, the Market Intelligence department collects and analyses essential information and data in order to support economic development and business innovation initiatives in priority sectors. The Market Intelligence Analysts are the driving force providing strategic insights into sector-specific developments in Luxembourg and across the globe. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a :

Market Intelligence Analyst (m/f)

Full-time, ref : MI, fixed term contract 1 year


  • Identify and collect data and information on companies, market trends, market watch, economic sectors and other relevant topics on digitalisation and sustainability
  • Analyse and perform financial, statistical and qualitative analysis of the collected information and data
  • Translate data, analysis and insights into actionable and effective market intelligence reports, statistics and dashboards, with an emphasis on the quality and accuracy of information
  • Propose relevant economic indicators, decision-support systems and formulate strategic recommendations to support effective economic development strategies.


You hold a Master in Economics, Economic intelligence, Business Management and demonstrate the following competencies :

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills combined with a sound business acumen
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis (i.e. income statements, balance sheets, cash flows … etc) and market analyses
  • Rigor, precision and attention to the impact of your work for the client
  • Openness, proactivity and good interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; good knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, etc.) is an asset
  • Fluency in English and French is mandatory (spoken and written).
