Luxinnovation, the national innovation agency, contributes to Luxembourg’s economic development by stimulating innovation, fuelling international growth and attracting foreign investors. Established as an Economic Interest Group (GIE), Luxinnovation is an initiative supported by the Ministry of the Economy, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Skilled Trades and FEDIL – The Voice of Luxembourg’s Industry.

The agency manages, among other things, the Luxembourg Digital Innovation Hub (L-DIH) and the Luxembourg Cluster Initiative, which stimulate the cooperation within Luxembourg’s key sectors. In this context, the L-DIH and the Materials & Manufacturing Cluster offer a 3-month full–time internship. To fill this position, we are looking for a:

Marketing Trainee (m/f)


Support the L-DIH and the Materials & Manufacturing Cluster in the organisation of 2 important events:

  • Definition of the content of the event agendas together with the stakeholders concerned
  • Onboarding of approved speakers to the event
  • Project management of the organisation of the events from inception to realisation
  • Interface with stakeholders, both internal (Luxinnovation departments) and external (companies, research centres, etc.) ones
  • Support to pre and post event communication activities

The list of missions is adaptable and will depend on the duration of the internship (minimum 3 month) and the trainee’s profile.


You are currently studying a field related to Marketing and Communication (minimum level BAC+2), and have experience of organising events. You are a result-driven team player with the following skills:

  • You combine excellent organisational and communication skills (oral and written)
  • You work in a structured way and have a problem-solving attitude
  • You have project management experience
  • You are perfectly fluent in English and French. The knowledge of Luxembourgish and/or German is an asset
  • You are proactive and can work independently
  • You are familiar with the Microsoft Office suite
