The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) will provide expert support to a major Industry 4.0 project implemented by hard material products producer Ceratizit. In the context of a two-year partnership agreement, LIST's data analytics and artificial intelligence specialists will support the digital transformation of Ceratizit's development and manufacturing processes.
The company has put in place a system that makes its whole production process, from the moments clients ask for an offer until the final product is delivered, completely digital.
The Luxembourg government, the country’s scientific community and NVIDIA will create a joint research laboratory for artificial intelligence (AI). Focusing on using AI and high performance computing to search for solutions to major societal challenges, the collaboration will also be successively opened to industrial companies and start-ups.
