This is yet another feather in the caps of AIVA cofounders Arnaud Decker and Pierre Barreau who went through Luxinnovation’s Fit4Start programme. Not only was AIVA chosen as one of eight Luxembourg start-ups representing Luxembourg at world’s largest new tech exhibition, the Consumer Electronics Show, in Las Vegas in January 2018, the company also recently announced that it would be providing the music for the world’s first video game with a main theme composed by an Artificial Intelligence.

The gaming world is a highly lucrative market and signifies big things for this start-up to watch. Aiva wrote the main theme of Pixelfield; entitle “Battle Royale”. The piece was recorded with a professional orchestra and the musicians were able to bring the music to life. With this and the recent closing of the aforementioned round of financing for AIVA, the AI will continue to improve and create themes for large projects.
