Luxinnovation spoke with CEO Guillaume de Malzac.

How did you first hear about Luxinnovation and our Fit 4 Start programme?

We heard about Luxinnovation and this programme through Nyuko, which we got in touch with thanks to the Alsace based incubator SEMIA.

What was your biggest achievement?

AR24’s success so far is quite an achievement. The fact that AR24 should soon be the first French service to obtain the eIDAS qualification, even before the French national post, will be another new huge achievement.

Name 3 things you especially like about the Fit 4 Start programme?

  • The coaches! They have helped us a lot rethinking some parts of the business
  • The team and the committee behind the coaches
  • The ambiance with the other teams; we are all very willing to help each other based on our experiences

What did you learn so for by participating in the Fit 4 Start programme?

We’ve learned to rethink our product in a more open way (in terms of upselling opportunities), and we are now rethinking our strategy.

What are the upcoming challenges for your start-up?

The next challenges we face are to grow faster, with or without external funding – that is the question.

Tips and tricks of an entrepreneur:

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?

At first, focus on building your product for one niche market that truly needs it and will pay for it; once you are secure, move to other markets.
