Mind & Market in Luxembourg has launched its call for applications for its next Mind & Market Forum in Belval on 14 November. The initiative that brings together creative minds and experienced market players in Luxembourg is taking a new shape as RTL, Fedil, Paul Wurth Incub and Equilibre are joining the club.

As a result of the increasing focus on entrepreneurship in Luxembourg, the Mind & Market in Luxembourg initiative is broadening its scope and has invited new associates onboard. What started off as an initiative by Deloitte Luxembourg, Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), Luxinnovation, University of Luxembourg and Mind & Market ASBL  in 2015 has now expanded to also include RTL, Fedil, Paul Wurth Incub and Equilibre.

The overarching goal of Mind & Market in Luxembourg is to help creative minds in Luxembourg and the Greater Region turn their innovative ideas into business reality.

“There is a lot going on in Luxembourg when it comes to new ideas and out of the box thinking. The steering committee is very pleased to strengthen the Mind & Market initiative by welcoming our new associates with their valuable input and experience. In this way, the initiative will better represent the diversity in the local ecosystem,” explains Luc Brucher, Partner at Deloitte Luxembourg.

Where minds and markets mingle

Mind & Market in Luxembourg organizes an annual forum where startups can pitch their projects and get valuable feedback from experienced market players. The third edition of the forum will take place in Maison du savoir in Belval on 14 November 2017, and the organizers opened its call for applications. The previous editions of the forum showcased respectively 35 and 24 innovative projects of different maturity level across a range of categories. This year’s edition will include also more established projects and startups, without taking the spotlight away from first-stage ideas.

“This year, the steering committee would like to ensure a clear link to the Luxembourg market, and we will put priority on startups linked to digital technologies and Industry 4.0,” adds Valérie Tollet, Partner at Deloitte Luxembourg. The forum will be open to startups from all parts of Europe.

A promising meeting place

Mind & Market brings together creative project owners, disruptive startups, innovative companies and potential investors. By matching innovative solutions to the needs of the market, the initiative acts as a facilitator for the growth of startups.

Throughout the year, the Mind & Market in Luxembourg platform creates a meeting place for creative minds and experienced business people on the lookout for the next big thing, and thereby helps individuals develop their innovative ideas and build a winning team.
