The ground for ethics is laid down in article 19 of the regulation (EU) 2021/695 establishing Horizon Europe and completed by article 14 of the Model Grant Agreement. Ethical principles are strongly linked to human rights. Projects are required to comply with ethical principles. Hence, proposers have to do an ethics self-assessment and to incorporate ethics compliance within their project.

The webinar on Ethics in Horizon Europe proposals presented by Luxembourg Horizon Europe National Contact Points covers the principle of ethics, the ethics self-assessment and give some tips to applicants on how to approach ethics in their project.
