Luxinnovation spoke with Georgi Taskov (GT), founder of Evvos S.A., about Fit for Start and entrepreneurship:
What has been your biggest achievement since you founded Evvos?
GT: Obtaining a SIGFOX Ready™ certification for our product was a real breakthrough for us. Being able to team up with this major industry player in IoT technologies represented an important step for our startup because it lends credibility to what we do. On top of that, we managed to acquire new customers within the past year.

What did you learn so far by participating in the Fit for Start programme?
GT: During the programme we learned that there are many aspects an entrepreneur should be aware of: hire the right people, create a minimum viable product (MVP), market fit, sales, business model, financial planning, marketing and fundraising, etc. It all takes time and effort and it has to be done. However, the most important question remains and that is why would anyone buy what you produced? There’s only one answer to that question: people and companies buy your products because of its perceived value. Everything else is secondary.
What are your next challenges?
GT: In the weeks and months to come we plan on executing some more product iterations and make the necessary adjustments to our business model. Above all, we are ready to start growing our customer base. As you can see, there is a lot of work ahead of us but we truly feel ‘Fit for Start’.
