Big news out of Luxinnovation’s start-up team! The call for the Fit 4 Start Spring 2018 edition drew 163 submissions, a record number for the programme. We also want to announce that the Graduation Day for the Fit 4 Start Fall 2017 edition will happen on March 12, 2018.

Luxinnovation’s Fit 4 Start Spring addition drew a record number of applicants. 163 projects were submitted of which 39% came from Luxembourg and the rest came from abroad. Along with submissions from France, Belgium, Germany and the UK, Luxinnovation’s FIT4Start team received applications from as far away as South Korea, India, Brazil, Canada and Chile. An inspiring statistic is that for this edition, Luxinnovation received the highest percentage of female applicants.

Laurence Hulin, Advisor – Start-up Support says, “The number of applications is a clear sign that our Fit 4 Start programme is growing in stature and reach, particularly since a number of applicants said that they had heard about the programme through word of mouth.”

2018 GRADUATION DAY FIT 4 START (LUXEMBOURG)

Luxinnovation’s Fit 4 Start Fall 2017 programme offered ICT start-ups four months of intensive, top-quality support that focussed on issues that are crucial for success: targeting the right clients, addressing the right market and defining the most suitable business model.

Luxinnovation encourages as many people as possible to come along and not only cheer on these hard working graduates on March 12 but at the same time watch exciting live pitches from the final candidates for the next Fit 4 Start coaching programme starting mid-April. It takes a lot of guts to do a live pitch. Come along and encourage these daring entrepreneurs.  The names of the selected participants will be announced during this event.

As always, Luxinnovation will invite an outstanding speaker to speak about the lessons learned on his or her road to start-up success and beyond.
