The objective of the workshop was to inform and train researchers and company representatives to write competitive project proposals in order to maximise their chances of obtaining funding from Horizon Europe, the EU’s research and innovation funding programme for the period 2021-2027 with a budget of €95,5 billion. It covered the whole process from identifying the most relevant calls for proposals to setting up a competitive consortium and defining the strategic objectives of the proposal in relation to the call text to addressing the various sections of the proposal template. The interactive training session, hosted at Luxinnovation’s premises in Belval, included both presentations and practical exercises. It attracted 27 participants.

A similar workshop, targeting people who already have an advanced understanding and knowledge of Horizon Europe projects, will be organised in September 2022 with the aim of further increasing the success rate of the participants.
