The FIT-4-NMP project is a recently launched support programme funded under the European Commission’s Horizon Europe programme. It aims to increase the participation of talented “New Entrants” in the fields of nanotechnology, advanced materials and new manufacturing processes (NMP).

In this context, “newcomers” refers to organisations – in particular SMEs – that have not been successfully funded under NMP topics in Horizon 2020, but have strong research and innovation activities at national and/or international level (e.g. projects, patents, marketed products, etc.)

The FIT-4-NMP project will take strategic and targeted approaches to facilitate collaboration across borders and between industry and research organisations by organising workshops, providing trainings and hands-on support to prepare proposals for Horizon Europe calls.

Online survey

In order to better identify the organisations likely to integrate this programme and to be able to accompany them in their approach, Luxinnovation is making an identification form available. Interested companies are invited to fill in the form by Mid-June 2021 and to submit it to Luxinnovation.

In addition, newcomers are invited to share their opinion about the challenges that may limit participation in Horizon Europe NMP projects. Understanding these challenges will help the FIT-4-NMP team to propose the most relevant support measures to interested organisations. This survey only takes 15-20 minutes to complete.
