The Luxembourg government has launched a new information website for companies in the logistics and international trade sector which aims to centralise in one single location, information on the customs and excise agency, indirect tax authority and various other agencies and offices.

 

It is aimed in particular at:

  • promoting Luxembourg as European logistics hub;
  • showcasing the multimodal platforms and high added-value services offered by our companies;
  • explaining the various steps to be taken in establishing or developing logistical activities in Luxembourg;
  • simplifying the administrative formalities connected with the import, export and transit of goods.

The Logistics Portal is available in French and English, and can be accessed at the web address www.logistics.public.lu.

Vodafone to set up pan-European logistics platform in Luxembourg

On 26 October 2022, Luxembourg Minister of the Economy Franz Fayot and Ninian Wilson, the CEO of Vodafone Procurement Company, signed a memorandum of understanding for the establishment of Vodafone’s pan-European logistics platform in Luxembourg. The platform will strengthen Vodafone’s presence in Luxembourg even further.
