Luxembourg’s diverse and unique landscapes are crisscrossed by hiking and biking paths. The internationally renowned Mullerthal Trail is composed of several tracks that offer beautiful viewpoints and natural as well as cultural highlights. Two of the tracks pass through the abbey town of Echternach, the country’s oldest city. Hiker-friendly accommodation is available throughout the region, and a bagage transportation service is available for those wanting to walk with light luggage.

Little Switzerland is part of the Germano-Luxembourg Natural Park (NaturWanderPark Delux), which also features unique cross-border hiking trails. The Mullerthal Trail received the label “Leading Quality Trails – Best of Europe” in 2014.
