The roots of Luxembourg’s creative industries date back many years. “While it is well known that media and communication giants such as RTL Group or SES have their headquarters in Luxembourg, not everyone realises the width and breadth of our creative industries,” says Marc Lis, who manages the cluster at Luxinnovation. “The brochure therefore presents the 12 different industries represented in the cluster and provides key figures on the economic weight of the sector.”

The brochure also highlights how the cluster has developed and grown since its launch in January 2017. “The growth largely exceeds our expectations, which shows that there was a genuine need to set up the cluster,” Mr Lis points out. The cluster offers a range of services, including its flagship project creativecluster.lu. This online platform for creatives presents the skills of cluster members and promotes new business opportunities.

The brochure will be used to make the cluster known to an even larger audience, in Luxembourg and abroad.

Luxinnovation is a public-private partnership composed of the Ministry of the Economy, the Ministry for Higher Education and Research, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, the Luxembourg Chamber of Skilled Crafts and FEDIL – The Voice of Luxembourg’s Industry.
