The European Technology Platform ERTRAC, specialised in the field of transport and mobility, has recently published its Strategic Research Agenda that provides input for the next European Framework Programme for Research. Luxinnovation’s European funding team has prepared a summary document aiming to help Luxembourg stakeholders align their R&D activities with forthcoming European funding opportunities.

The European Road Transport Advisory Council (ERTRAC) brings together road transport stakeholders in order to develop a common vision for road transport in Europe. It Strategic Research Agenda provides an overview of innovation challenges and suggests research and development topics for the period 2020-2030. The document can therefore give Luxembourg organisations an in-depth understanding of strategic developments in transport research for this 10-year period.

Luxembourg players have so far been extremely successful with obtaining Horizon 2020 funding for R&D projects. Keeping up to date with future research priorities is key to maintaining this strong track record. Luxinnovation’s summary report provides a clear and concise overview of the main points of the Strategic Research Agenda.
