Following the Horizon 2020 programme, which was launched in 2014 and ends on 31 December this year, Horizon Europe will cover the period 2021-2027.

It is the largest and most ambitious research and innovation framework programme ever proposed by the European Union, with a total budget of €85 billion.

Horizon Europe aims at strengthening the EU’s science and technology sectors and competitiveness while tackling major global challenges in vital areas such as climate change, building resilience and achieving sustainable development. Horizon Europe provides the means for the European Union to confirm its position as a world leader in research and innovation.

As the national contact point for the Horizon Europe programme, the national innovation agency, Luxinnovation, is organising an online presentation of the challenges and opportunities offered by this programme to public and private organisations in Luxembourg on Tuesday 1 December 2020 from 10:00 to 12:00.

Horizon Europe focuses in particular on collaboration at the European level between private players and/or public research institutes.

On this occasion, the website horizoneurope.lu will also be launched.

This event is open to individuals as well as to organisations (companies, municipalities, hospitals, NGOs, etc.), both those who have already participated in projects supported by European programmes and those who wish to participate for the first time.
