For the 4th time, the ProdPilot consortium, which was set up to provide small and medium-sized enterprises in the Greater Region with the tools they need to assess and improve their productivity, will award its grand prize.

Initiated as part of a European Interreg project, the ProdPilot initiative supports companies in analysing and improving their productivity in order to make the most of the potential for innovation in this region.

In concrete terms, one company from each of the five regions that make up the Greater Region (Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate, Lorraine, Luxembourg and Wallonia) will be nominated for the reward for a productivity-related project. Among these five “finalists”, only one winner will be chosen to receive the ProdPilot Grand-Prix.

An additional award for exceptional projects may be given in the “large companies” category.

The ProdPilot Grand-Prix  will be presented in Saarbrücken at the end of 2022.

The focus is on innovative projects that increase productivity in companies and thus contribute to the future of the location and the economic success of the company.

Companies that have developed a process that can make them more productive, implemented an innovative measure that has improved the efficiency of their working methods, or initiated or completed a project that has boosted their productivity, are therefore invited to submit an application, covering one or more of the following themes:

  • Strategy
  • Process & value chain
  • Organisation
  • Methods & tools
  • People

“As every year, the ProdPilot Grand-Prix gives us the opportunity to highlight innovative projects which have concretely made companies more productive and efficient,” explains Caroline Muller, manager of the Luxembourg Materials & Manufacturing Cluster at Luxinnovation. “Luxembourg companies definitely deserve their place in this competition. In 2019, the Grand-Prix award went to Luxembourg company Ferrotech. So don’t hesitate to apply!”

The deadline for applications has been set for 15 August 2022.
