Luxinnovation spoke with CEO Gilles MAIRE.

How did you first hear about Luxinnovation and our Fit 4 Start programme?

We did a simple Google search about “Innovation in Luxembourg” and discovered the Fit 4 Start programme on the referenced Luxinnovation website.

What was your biggest achievement?

Our adventure began with the observation of a problem that exists both in the personal and the professional environment: how to see the final result of a project that has not yet been completed. With our solution, we can for example make it possible to visit a new building before it has been finalised or imagine what it would look like to install a wine cellar in the ground of the living room.

Name 3 things you especially like about the Fit 4 Start programme?

  • Discussions with the coaches
  • The very complete ecosystem
  • The network

What did you learn so for by participating in the Fit 4 Start programme?

We must not create a technical solution too quickly, but have to take the time to discover the difficulties of the business of our future customers. And only after this analysis can we create a value proposition based on customer interviews.

What are the upcoming challenges for your start-up?

The augmented reality market is quite new and will be growing fast in the next few years. With our solution named “Prometheus”, we would like to take a significant place in this development.

Tips and tricks of an entrepreneur:

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?

“Everything is possible, you only need time, money and people.”
