Luxinnovation is pleased to announce the appointment of David Foy as “Head of Sector Development – Digital Economy” as of 1 July 2017.

In this role, David’s primary responsibility will be to drive business development efforts in the ICT and Digital Economy sector, with a focus on attracting foreign direct investment into Luxembourg. During a successful career of over 20 years, David has gained considerable experience in both the financial services and the IT industry. His extensive knowledge of ICT solutions, cybersecurity & data protection coupled with a fine sense of investors’ needs and expectations make him an outstanding candidate for this role.

Commenting, David Foy noted that “The digital transformation of the economy creates many new business opportunities and Luxembourg is ready to seize them. Even though the country ranks among the top 10 digital economies, we have to continue developing the sector to consolidate and improve our position. I look forward to contributing to the strategic development of Luxembourg’s ICT sector and digital economy. My ambition is to help turn my home country for over 40 years into a premier digital hub for foreign investors.”
