On the occasion of the celebration of the World Standards Day on Friday 14 October 2022, the Luxembourg Institute for Standardisation, Accreditation, Safety and Quality of Products and Services (ILNAS) is organising, in collaboration with the University of Luxembourg, an event at the Maison de la Biomédecine II (Biotech II) on the Esch-Belval Campus.

During this event, ILNAS will give an update on the 2020-2030 national standardization strategy for the sectors identified, in this framework, as promising for the economy (Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), aerospace and construction), proposing a retrospective of ad hoc standardization developments carried out in 2022.

The University of Luxembourg will detail the progress of the joint ILNAS/University of Luxembourg-SnT research program: “Technical Standardization for Trustworthy ICT, Aerospace and Construction” (2021-2024).

The event will close with the new “ILNAS Standardization & Innovation Award 2022”, which will recognise good practice in the use of standards in innovative projects.
