July 2019

Dear readers,

Last week, Luxinnovation hosted an event where the European Innovation Council (EIC) presented its new funding measures for investment in high potential breakthrough innovation for SMEs.

The 2019 edition of the EU Innovation Scoreboard was recently published. We are happy to announce that Luxembourg secured 5th place in terms of overall performance and is classified as a “Strong Innovator”.

The European Commission will soon release its work programmes for the last two years of Horizon 2020. We therefore have the pleasure to invite you to our annual gathering "Horizon 2020 Info Day" on 10 October where our experts will present new funding opportunities in more detail.

We are always pleased to help you with your Horizon 2020 ideas or research initiatives, so do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
