Gaia-X: Gaining true digital sovereignty in the cloud

Help build Europe’s federated data infrastructure

We connect you with the Gaia-X initiative aimed at building the future European cloud computing services that will give you independence from vendor lock-ins and help you be future-proof.

Do you want to find out how to build or use a true European sovereign cloud computing service?

Almost all organisations use cloud computing services in one way or another. Most cloud platforms offer great tools and services but come with the big caveat of lacking interoperability or concerns regarding the European data privacy regulation (GDPR).

Gaia-X seeks to create a federated secure data infrastructure based on European values. Its core mission is to foster transparency, controllability, portability and interoperability across data and services. The initiative is managed by a central non-profit organisation, Gaia-X aisbl, and national hubs for support.

We operate the Luxembourg Gaia-X hub and are your one-stop shop for all questions concerning the initiative.

We can support you with:

  • Getting involved in building future European clouds
  • Finding partners
  • Keeping you updated on the status of the initiative
