The aim of this workshop is to inform cross-border operators who already rely on and those who wish to invest in pulsed plasma surface treatment processes of the latest research advances. It will also provide a systemic support for these technologies in order to improve their performance, open up their product offerings and optimize their production lines.

Plasma processes are high-level industrial technologies that allow, among other things, coating with high performance and high added value on all types of substrates: metals, glass, ceramics, polymers, etc.

The results of recent research work are extremely interesting because they show that it is possible to have better control of the plasma chemistry and the effects of ion bombardment on the surface, which would make it possible to improve the homogeneity of coating on complex surfaces.

This workshop is organized within the framework of the Interreg V A Grande-Région PULASTEC project, with the support of the European Regional Development Fund, Wallonia and the Chancellery of the Saarland and in collaboration with Liège Creative.

Format

Registration is free and lunch is provided by the organizers.

Depending on the evolution of the Covid situation, the conference room is likely to change in order to respect hygiene measures and social distancing.

An online format will be considered if travel is limited.
