Since 2016, MPG is a provider of custom-designed, scalable solutions for advanced surface functionalisation. With their proprietary and sustainable cold atmospheric plasma technology, MPG is able to covalently bond an extremely wide range of organic precursor molecules onto any kind of substrate in a single-step, dry process, thus resulting in a permanent nanocoating. The functions given by this nanocoating include:
- Improved adhesion on difficult-to-bond materials
- Super-hydrophobic or hydrophilic surfaces
- Bio-active surfaces (antimicrobial, virucidal, biocidal, anti-biofouling
- Targeted filtration
- Release coatings
