Luxinnovation attended the EIC Innovator Summit

Luxinnovation attended the EIC Innovator Summit the 10th and 11th September in Berlin. Luxinnovation was representing Idealist2018, the NCP ICT network, highly involved in the SME instrument support. Luxinnovation met with European colleagues from Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), NCP-network Access4SME, European public funding agencies and the Commission.

New funding opportunities under Horizon 2020 for Next-Generation Batteries

The European Commission published a separate cross-thematic work programme with new Horizon 2020 funding opportunities under the title “Building a Low-Carbon, Climate Resilient Future: Next-Generation Batteries”.
The work programme addresses the challenge of transitioning towards a de-carbonised society, building on the COP21, the EU 2020 targets, and the 2050 Energy Roadmap. The focus is on electric batteries for vehicles, with a budget of €114 Million for 2019 and €70 Million for 2020.

The European Commission launched for the first time its European Sustainability award. It aims at raising awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals in the European Union by giving a human face to the efforts and creativity of European people, businesses and organizations.

European Commission is looking for Mission Innovation Champion for Clean Energy Revolution

Mission Innovation Champions is a new recognition program to celebrate and support innovative individuals who are accelerating the clean energy revolution.
