The aim of this workshop IP essentials for scaling start-ups – Managing IP in collaborative projects is to introduce the elements that are or could be protected by intellectual property (IP) in collaborative innovation projects.

It will look at the main protection tools available to start-ups, the main points to consider when working on collaborative projects, the facts to be aware of and good practices to be observed. It will also present the possibilities to benefit from financial support under the European Union’s SME Fund when filing IP applications.

The SME Fund 2023 is an initiative from the European Commission, implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). It enables European SMEs and start-ups to benefit from partial reimbursement of the costs incurred while filing for intellectual property rights (patents, trademarks, designs or models, plant variety certificates).

The initiative is supported in Luxembourg by IPIL G.I.E., the Luxembourg Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of the Economy, and the Benelux Office for Intellectual Property.

The workshop IP essentials for scaling start-ups – Managing IP in collaborative projects will be held on 23 November 23 2023, from 9am to 12am

Participation is free of charge but requires prior registration.
