The latest publication from Luxinnovation’s Communication Department has just been realised: welcome to the presentation brochure of the Luxembourg Wood Cluster that was initiated in November 2016 and is managed by Luxinnovation.
As a meeting point for innovative regional actors, whether private or public, companies or research centres, the Wood Cluster brings together expertise in the field of wood processing and wood treatment in Luxembourg and enables experience sharing inside the country and in the Greater Region.
Across 24 pages this beautiful new brochure:
- Describes the current state-of-play of the “wood” sector in Luxembourg, a country with 92,300 hectares of woods and forests, more than a third of its territory. Close to 1,500 companies directly or indirectly related to wood are active in Luxembourg and employ 11,000 people, more than half of them in the construction sector.
- Details the missions and achievements of the Wood Cluster and its articulation within the Luxinnovation activity.
