The European Defence Industrial Development Programme (EDIDP) amounts for € 500 million for 2019-2020. In 2019 nine calls for proposals were launched and the Commission received 40 proposals. For the first time ever, Union budget will be used to co-fund collaborative development of defence technologies and products. During summer 2020, the selected projects from 2019 calls will be awarded. The recently published 2020 calls will be open from 15 April 2020 to 1 December 2020. They cover 12 categories outlined below. The detailed call text is available here.
Should you have any questions regarding the calls, you are welcome to contact Benjamin Questier, Strategic Advisor & Head of European R&D and Innovation Support.
